By the way, did you realize the difference between old and new photos?
I have Nikon D80. But, recently, i am using Pentax Asahi K1000 which is a 35 mm film camera. It belongs to my father and i think it is from 1980s or beginning of 1990s. The lens is Pentax-A 50 mm f/1.7 and. I used Kodak 200/36.
Here is one of the review;

If you compare the photos i am sure that you will feel the difference. "OLD" labeled photos were taken with D80. The others are with Pentax K1000. K1000 saturates the tones in such as way that the result is lovely. I think it is a beautiful camera!

Sea Sea (Old)
Sailing with Storks:
PS: As far as i know storks do not prefer to fly over the sea since thermics which help the storks for flying because of the vertical air movement, don't occur over the sea. Interesting?

Gestures&Postures
Here are my observations about gestures and postures around USF library.
http://www.slideshare.net/alphansa/observation-gesturepostures
I did it for a course work and enjoy a lot while i was preparing it. That's why i am sharing it.
I tried to compare the gestures and postures in U.S. and Turkey. But, i am warning that this is not a serious study. Since i couldn't find the exact pictures for the gestures and postures, i tried to demonstrate them by myself (and Yohannes for the California style salute :) ). Also, there are couple of videos on the slides but it is hard to upload all of them.

Sea Level
Here is an another extraordinary day from Tampa Bay area.
Path loss measurements above sea level for a solar-powered submarine around St. Pete - USF Collage of Marine Science.

Visualization of the measurement results;

All measurements took nearly whole one day on the zodiac boat. At the end of the day, i was totally exhausted :) I was planning to go somewhere else beside Tampa :)
They were mating dolphins around us. I couldn't take their shots because i was using my phone as a GPS unit :(

Tesla Coil
An extraordinary day in Tampa!
They want us to measure the impact of a Tesla coil on mobile communication systems, built in St. Pete Forum. These coils had been installed for the Tampa Bay Lightning - NHL games to create artificial lightnings! The coils are amazing when the lights are down. It is show time!
Here are some shots;
Videos (Flash player is required.):

and of course AC/DC - Thunderstruck!

Rastgele
Neden insan bir kafeye gidip calismak, orada yazmak, okumak ister ya da bir ise konsantre olmasi gerekirken yaninda muzik dinler? Cevabi ilginc olsa gerek. Konu ile ilgili calismalar da varmis. Hepsini okumadim ama diyor ki ozette [1]
"a moderate (70 dB) versus low (50 dB) level of ambient noise enhances performance on creative tasks and increases the buying likelihood of innovative products. A high level of
noise (85 dB), on the other hand, hurts creativity."
Sebep olarak da su sunuluyor;
"Process measures reveal that a moderate (vs. low) level of noise increases processing difficulty, inducing a higher construal level and thus promoting abstract processing, which subsequently leads
to higher creativity."
Aslinda bunun baska ornekleri de yok degil gibi. Cogu yaratici fikir oyle havadan sudan sohbet ederken cikmiyor mu? Cok sessizken bazen uyumak daha zor olmaz mi? Yeni dogan cocuklar neden gurultu benzer sesler duyarken aglamazlar? Belki bunlar ayri seylerdir. Ama gurultu ile iliskili degiller mi?
Ne diye rastgelelik var yasamin icinde? Mukemmel olacagi yanilgisiyla sistemleri gurultuden bagisik, kusursuz (belki de odun gibi!) yapmaya calistik sanki. Bilgisayarlarin sorunu olmasin sakin kendi iclerindeki muzigi dinleyememesi?
